Keep calm & don’t panic!

Hello everyone

It’s that time of year isn’t it, that transition from summer (mmm…what summer?) to autumn? I don’t know about you but I find myself having to make a mental transition. I almost have to psych myself up for the appearance of Mr Jack Frost spreading his shimmering curtain of ice across our windows and making the grass go crunchy. “Stop!” I hear you scream.! Well…yes lets not get ahead of ourselves, we are only just at the beginning of autumn.

I’m most certainly not a winter person, I yearn for summer all year round. Yet there is something quite cosy and comforting to be wrapped up in doors when you know it’s blowing a gale outside. And I have been known to enjoy a crisp bright sunny morning when there’s an icy nip in the air and the sky is an expanse of glorious blue. If you get yourself kitted out in the proper gear then the bitter winds and heavy downpours are easier to manage. As comedian Billy Connolly once said “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing.”

Changing a negative to a positive or a change in attitude, which ever way you look at it, it’s got to be better than making yourself feel miserable? There’s another saying here that springs to mind which I’m a firm believer in…”change how you feel by changing the way you think.”

It’s a proven scientific fact that what we think can have a direct effect on how we feel. I’m sure some of you have experienced those dreadful panic attacks at some time or another. The blood rushes to your face, your heart starts pounding and you think you’re going to make a fool of yourself.

How powerful is that? That split second thought that something bad is going to happen and your body goes into fight or flight mode! It’s actually your bodies way of protecting you and preparing you to act, to take flight and escape or get up fighting.

Don’t you wish you could take hold of your nerves and make that energy work for you instead of against you?

Have you ever wished that you could go into that meeting and knock ‘em dead with your kick ass presentation?

Or really shine with confidence and self esteem in abundance?

Be in control of your thoughts and stop panic attacks in their track?

Well you can and what’s more my FREE 30 minute session might be just what the doctor ordered. Email me

Have a great weekend every one.
