Do you eat your food really fast?

Are you unconsciously eating while you’re rushing around, multi tasking, when you’re feeling angry or stressed?

If the answer is YES then you are activating the stress response and you will store weight, not lose it!

Why? Because when the body is in stress response it does a number of things:
It temporarily decreases your digestion
Your metabolism will slow right down
You slow down calorie burning
You’re brain sends you more adrenaline, cortisol and insulin, more fast storing!

So before you eat:
Stop for a moment, check in with yourself.
Take a few deep breaths in and out and imagine yourself relaxing and then consciously start to eat slowly and focus on your food.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Be present at every meal.
