Psychotherapy is a way of helping you to deal with emotional and behavioural problems that are holding you back and preventing you from truly being the person you want to be.

I use a form of psychotherapy called Cognitive Behavioural therapy in combination with hypnosis and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) which speeds up the therapy process. The need for months of therapy is usually reduced to 1 – 4 sessions.  This of course does depend on what your difficulty is and your needs.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)  explores your thoughts and beliefs and the way you act which is causing emotional problems.  CBT  works very effectively with all sorts of issues but particularly fears and phobias.  CBT is NICE approved for the NHS for best evidenced based psychotherapy for the treatment of fears, phobias, anxiety disorders and depression.

In a session we would find different ways of changing your thinking and your beliefs. We would then replace them with more helpful and positive beliefs and behaviours to enable you to overcome your problems. CBT with Hypnosis is incredibly effective in bringing about profound change.

By releasing you of unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours you will feel  positive and in control again.  Change the way you think and behave and you change the way you feel and respond.
